The Sunday Post – 26/2/17

So this week has been much better than last, firstly I had some holiday to use up so I was only in the office four days this week – and I have tomorrow off too! Thursday night I went to the launch event for James Oswald’s new book Written in Bones, at Waterstones in Edinburgh. It was a great event, really well attended and both James and the host Russel McLean were on great form.

Then on Friday I came through to stay with one of my closest friends in Dundee, Friday night consisted of take away and curling up on the sofa with a book. Saturday we spent the afternoon playing games before heading out to another friends for dinner, drinks and more games, and today has been a fantastically lazy day featuring cake, random TV, reading and more games.

As I write this I’m almost crying with laughter listening to him destroy The Circle of Life, as we work our way through my musical playlist in the background.

I’m going into next week in a much better more relaxed place, I’ve got a few reviews to write-up and should be shared on the blog this coming week.

All weekend was fantastic, read 3 books and started a 4th, and played a lot of board games, accompanied by liberal amounts of prosecco lol
